On the evening of Saturday, October 10th, there was a fire at Mile High Flea Market. Through the quick response of South Adams County Fire Department, the fire was contained. There were no reported injuries. The flea market was open for business on the following day, Sunday, October 11th, and has remained open.
We would like to THANK all the first responders who assisted in containing and putting out the fire. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to:
- South Adams County Fire Department
- City of Thornton Fire Department
- Adams County Fire Rescue
- Northglenn Ambulance
- Commerce City Police Department
We cherish our seller community like family. With several of our sellers having been impacted by the fire, we’ve launched a GoFundMe page where donations can be made that will go directly to the sellers. Additionally, we will be accepting voluntary donations at the entrance booths this weekend, October 16, 17 & 18. Mile High Flea Market will be matching every dollar donated, up to $10,000, to benefit our displaced sellers.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. We are working hard to support the sellers, get them back to business, and rebuild what was lost.
Thank you for all your support and concern during this time. Stay connected on our Facebook page for updates.
