Buyer Rules

  • All buyers must maintain a social distance requirement of 6 feet at all times
  • All buyers are required to wear masks/face covering while at the market
  • Do not come to the market if you are sick.
  • Please wash your hands and avoid touching your face.
  • Please use a tissue or the inside of your elbow when you cough and/or sneeze and discard of the tissue properly. Wash your hands.
  • Follow all posted signage around the market.

Seller Rules

  • All vendors and vendor employees must wear a face mask at all times.
  • All vendors and vendor employees must stay within the designated selling area at all times.
  • No cutting or sampling of any produce items.
  • Do not come to the market if you are sick.
  • Please wash your hands and avoid touching your face.
  • We encourage all vendors to arrive at the market with personal hand sanitizer, use it often.

FAQ

  • What is the market doing to ensure safety?
    • We have enacted a comprehensive plan for the market that includes enhanced cleaning, line distancing, capacity restrictions, PPE is required by everyone, shields at point of sale locations, signage encouraging safety practices and a number of other things.
  • Can I practice social distancing at the flea market?
    • Mile High Flea Market is located on 80 acres of open fresh air, there is plenty of space to spread out while you shop. We have signs around the market reminding people to stay 6’ apart and we will be monitoring social distancing. We ask everyone to remain mindful of our safety rules.
  • Do I have to wear a mask?
    • Everyone is required to wear a mask or proper face covering while at the market.
    • We will have face masks for purchase at the office for anyone in need of one.
  • Are you monitoring capacity?
    • Yes, We will be monitoring the number of people coming in the gate and will adjust accordingly.
  • Will the rides be open?
    • No, the rides will remain closed until further notice.
  • Will there be live music/entertainment?
    • There will be no live music or entertainment at this time.
  • Will you be selling food?
    • We will be open with a modified menu to start, you will be able to enjoy some of your favorites.
  • Will the Farmers Market be open?
    • Yes, we are excited to see our produce vendors return, come out and stock up.

Updates

May 6, 2020

The Tri County Health Department issued guidance that Adams County will begin re-opening for some businesses effective Saturday, May 9. Based upon this guidance, we will be re-opening the market this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 9 & 10. Our #1 priority remains the safety of our team members, vendors, buyers and the community. We are all excited to open back up and we will ensure the proper use of PPE by EVERYONE at the market. We will continue to exercise enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures throughout the market and social distancing will be strictly enforced.

You can begin placing your reservations starting TODAY (Wednesday, May 6) by calling the office at 303-289-4656. We are encouraging everyone to call in to reserve their selling space or reserving online at https://milehighfleamarket.com/en/sell/book-space-with-us/. If you cannot call to make your reservation or book online, you can show up the morning of.  We are excited to re-open but will need everyone to adhere to signage posted throughout the market so we can remain safe and open. Come support local businesses and enjoy some fresh air.

The only way we can successfully re-open and stay open is to follow these directives. We cannot allow a single person to jeopardize our livelihood. If you see something that concerns you, please call the office so we can respond appropriately.

In accordance with Governor Jared Polis’ Public Health Order 20-23 to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Mile High Flea Market is temporarily closed as of today, March 19, 2020. Information on the closing and our future plans for re-opening can be found on our Facebook page and website
